Hi daihatsu lovers. I have a g200. The steering column has play in it. Now I got a used one off the g 200 smiley face. Now my problem is where it bolts on to the steering rack. I could force it on, but is this a good idea?

Check the splines are the same

Their are slightly different. The splines on the younger car is slightly curve near the point
number and diameters are the things to match.
