Hi hoping someone can direct me in the right direction, engine surges at idle when it has warmed up and sometimes when moving off engine starts to miss and then clears it self until the next stop. I have checked for any leakage and loose wires but all seems good, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have you done anything to the cooling system lately?

When you say surges do you possibly mean idle hunts? 800rpm - 1500rpm - 800rpm - 1500rpm etc
I haven’t done anything to the cooling system but the previous owners may have and when I say surges yes hunting sounds right.
I’d try bleed the cooling system as a first step. It’s common for air in the system to cause rev hunting.
