Has anyone encountered this issue? When on power it makes this screeching noise, most notably in 5th gear (spins the fastest I guess). I’ve tried removing the cluster and generously greasing the end where it connects as well as pouring some graphite powder down the cable tube. Made no difference whatsoever.

yeah I might take it all out and inspect. What I noticed with the cluster out is that when I put pressure on the cable (trying to push it into the sleeve) the noise stopped. Might be something loose then.
Make a funnel from duct tape and pour some craft oil down the line, this will help lubricate it if it is a bit dry.
