For sale is my 1985 Daihatsu Hi-Jet van. It has about 130,000km on the clock. This car had a Jet 2500HP Engine fitted in the rear and was used to perform in jet car shows in NSW.
The little 3 cylinder engine has been fully and meticulously re-conditioned, including the carburetor and fitted with a new clutch. Has brand new 14 inch alloy rims and new tires.
Inside front doors, side sliding doors and floors are lined with aluminium paneling. It looks great inside as well as outside.
The rear tail gate had a hole cut in it for the “Jet Engine” exhaust that was sticking out, and has been since blocked with a metal panel.
Vehicle is located in Sydney.
Currently not registered, but going very cheap at $2100.
